Kyu Shiba Rijyu Garden




Location: 5 minute walk from Hamamatsucho Station or around 15 minutes walk from Hamarikyu Garden


Entrance fees: 150 Yen

It is a garden similar to Hamarikyu Garden which is situated among the skyscraper. It used to be residence of feudal lords and government officials before turning into public garden.

Hamarikyu Garden


Location: 5-10 minute walk from Shiodome Station on the Oedo Subway Line

Entrance fees: 300 Yen

Hamarikyu Garden is located among the skyscrapers at Shiodome. It used to be a duck hunting ground but it has transformed into a public garden. It is attractive in any season where you can catch plum blossom, cherry blossom, canola blossom and fall foliage.

There is tea house by the lakeside for visitor to enjoy refreshment,

Although it is not as grand as compared to other Sakura flower viewing spots, it is unique in its own way with beautiful Canola flower. Walking around the Hamarikyu garden would take around 1 hour and you can also choose to enjoy the hot matcha tea by the lakeside :)

Koishikawa Korakuen


Location: 5-10 minute walk from Lidabashi station


Entrance fees: 300 Yen

Koishikawa Korakuen is one of the oldest and best garden which is built in early Edo Period. These traditional Japanese garden attempts to replicate the chinese garden using 4 element of rockery building, water design, horticulture and architecture. It is good spot to enjoy cherry blossom as it is really peaceful and quiet yet unlike those famous sites which are flooded with noisy tourists. It is quite small and it took around 1 hour to slowly walk around enjoying the scenery.
